PROEL D10A Active Direct injection Box
1-channel Direct Box with PAD, LINK, LIFT/GROUND
DI Boxes perform several important functions: they are designed for impedance matching and balancing the signal of a guitar, a keyboard or any line-level output source, and for injecting directly the signal with very long connections to the XLR microphone inputs of a mixing console.
D10A is an active direct box with transformer and requires the phantom power to work. The advantage of a transformer is the possibility to avoid any electrical connection between the sound source and the mixer. This provides two huge benefits: with no electrical path, ground loops are eliminated and the cancellation of common-mode noise, like hum, is possible. The advantage of active instead of passive DIBOX is null insertion loss and less output hum and noise.

PROEL SOUND SYSTEMS
Proel has over 25 years of experience in the world of amplification. Such know-how as to generate a product philosophy inspired by innovation in design and functionality.
Since 1996, Proel has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing high-quality Sound Systems products that could meet the ever-increasing demand of professional installers and the music market.
Widely recognized for product value, Proel has focused its energies on ensuring that every single Sound Systems product is reliable and of high quality, with solutions for any target audience and application: from artists and professionals to amateur musicians; from fixed installations to live performances.
The beginning of the new millennium saw the introduction – in 2002 – of NEXT, Proel’s first plastic loudspeaker, while in 2003 Proel Sound Reinforcement’s experience was enriched by what is still considered a milestone in the sound reinforcement of large outdoor spaces: the EDGE series. Based on state-of-the-art transducers designed and manufactured with unique components and solutions in order to achieve high performance in terms of distortion reduction, precision in angular coverage, and high sound pressure levels, EDGE-with its high modularity-allowed the sound system to be configured for any type of space, effectively anticipating some of the concepts later taken up by modern loudspeaker arrays.
Proel Sound Systems’ experience is rooted in the professional touring world of the late 1990s, when, after a series of operational tests, Proel Sound Reinforcement introduced the SMART, TPR and TFL lines in 1997, the latter designed asymmetrically to also be used as floor monitors. Since then, Proel loudspeakers showed a focus on flexibility and portability by offering, for example, the external Full range/Bi-Amp selector switch for handling multiple systems and ergonomic handles inserted on multiple sides.
