The DT 73 IE is specially designed for string, wind, and keyboard instruments. The physically linear bass and mid-range reproduction between 20 Hz and 1 kHz ensures a natural sound that accurately reflects the original signal. A subtle boost in the treble range from 5kHz upwards ensures precise overtones without making the sound piercing or overemphasized.

The heart of the DT 73 IE is the TESLA.11 driver system, crafted in Germany and superior to conventional balanced armature systems. It delivers outstanding detail resolution with minimal distortion (THD: 0.02%). Thanks to its high impulse fidelity, acoustic events are reproduced with precision.
